ratedBuildR LLC (“ratedBuildR”) is dedicated to creating a trusted, professional, and respectful community for everyone involved in the home improvement process. We connect customers with a network of skilled, independent System Actors (including MeasurRs, VendRs, FabricatRs, DelivRs, and BuildRs) to deliver high-quality results.
To ensure the best possible experience for everyone, we require all users of the ratedBuildR platform—including customers, System Actors, and our employees—to uphold our core values.
- Prioritize Safety:Maintain a safe environment at all times. For customers, this includes securing pets and ensuring the work area is free of hazards before a System Actor arrives. For System Actors, this means adhering to industry safety standards, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and never working under conditions you deem unsafe.
- Be Professional:Present yourself and your property in a professional, safe, and respectful manner. Communicate clearly, promptly, and accurately. Ensure every interaction contributes to a comfortable and efficient working environment.
- Be Respectful:Treat each other and each other’s property with care and consideration. This includes refraining from harassment, threats, personal insults, or the use of profane or abusive language in any communication. In the event of a disagreement, approach the situation with patience and a collaborative spirit, and allow ratedBuildR to facilitate a resolution.
- Be Honest and Transparent:Honor your agreements and be honest about expectations, timelines, and limitations. For System Actors, this means being upfront if a task is outside your skillset or requires a change in scope. For customers, this means providing accurate information about the project and any site conditions.
- Be Reliable:Answer calls, messages, and emails in a timely manner. Value each other’s time by being present and punctual for all scheduled appointments and deliveries. Communication is key to a successful project.
- Respect Privacy:All users must respect the personal privacy of others. System Actors should not share photos, videos, or specific details of a customer’s home or property on social media or any other public forum without the customer’s explicit written consent. Customers should respect the personal information of the System Actors provided for the purpose of completing the project.
- Be Fair:As a System Actor, provide high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service. As a customer, be considerate of the System Actors’ time and expertise. When providing reviews, be fair and honest, reflecting the quality of the service you received.
- Be Inclusive:ratedBuildR is committed to building an inclusive and welcoming community. We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. All interactions on our platform must be free of discrimination based on race, national origin, social and economic class, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, political belief, religion, mental and physical ability, or any other protected factor. ratedBuildR adheres to a strict zero-tolerance discrimination policy.
ratedBuildR reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to immediately suspend or permanently remove any user—whether a customer or a System Actor—who fails to adhere to this Community Code of Conduct from our platform.
